Having taken on investment of €4m at the back-end of 2025, Galway’s AI sports start-up Orreco has continued on its acquisition trail, acquiring Jennis. AI-driven performance science company Orreco has acquired Jennis, the women’s health and performance platform co-founded by Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill, Olympic and three-time world heptathlon champion. According to Orreco this latest acquisition will bring together four capabilities, Orreco AI, FitrWoman, Jennis and DDSA computer vision “to create the most advanced, women’s performance ecosystem in the world”.

Galway-based agentic AI sports company Orreco has announced the closing of a $4m funding round with participation from Enterprise Ireland, television personality and billionaire investor Mark Cuban, as well as sports athletes and existing investors. Early backer Enterprise Ireland invested $1m as part of the round.
