Why, hello! You're the type of discerning BlueSkier that reads the alt-text, and good on you. That's where I really cook, because the character limit is, like, 2k in here. If you're just trying to get an idea of what image I've chosen, it's a horizontally-oriented movie poster for the movie Hamnet, directed by Chloe Zhao. I'm hearing nothing but good things, and F1 was literally the worst Best Picture nominee I've seen since Crash. Jesus. Sometimes, #OscarsHomework is a bit of a drag and an endurance game, and how I parcel out these homework-films plays a huge part in how many I'll manage to see and review and how comprehensively I will know this year's round of Awards-Season films going forward. Of course, you can always do Oscars Homework. Anyway, I'm glad you're bothering with the alt-text. Occasionally, I'll exhort other people with a hashtag to give it a glance, but they hardly do. You guys, I know, are special, because I hadn't even mentioned the alt-text. Y'all are just here. Good on you.

The dog did not go for the morsel that Paul Mescal threw down in that take (he dives for a morsel, as you'd want, but away from the one that Mescal threw on THIS take), which naturally makes one wonder for how long they tried & tried to get that right before going, "that's all we're getting." 😆

... it sure isn't its 161m runtime, but even in just the first minute, the vibes are right in this #film, especially amidst what's been a VERY hit-or-miss #OscarsHomework run.

I think we can definitively say, especially with this year's crop, that 10 is too many #BestPicture nominations.

I fully hated #MartySupreme, #OneBattleAfterAnother & #F1, and don't think they were good #movies, besides.

AND #Superman still got left off 😑
