This species has since been understood to be very different from the type species of Paleotragus and more closely related to modern giraffes. Wang et al name a new genus, Qilin, for this species and describe new ossicones from the same site the holotype was originally collected

Steed Girwrath Update - With JR being redrawn recently, I felt Steed was a good member of the Gem Knights to do next.
It was a bit tricky to get him to stand upright while making it look like he could still carry people on his back.

Steed Girwrath - A bipedal Kirin with orange fur and yellow scales on his body with ossicone horns that match. His ossicone horns also have red gemstones on their tips which produce electricity he uses to shock people. He is wearing black and white equipment consisting of a helmet, gauntlets, boots, belt and saddle with a red seat. His gear is also decorated with gemstone-like patterns on it which match the spots on his fur. His design is based on a combination of Yoshi, Farigiraf, Girafarig, Dragonite, and a few Pokémon fusions with on Girafarig specifically.
