We are supporters of @jrf-uk.bsky.social #OurEssentials campaign and took our copy of #HardshipTimes to the North East coast to read. Many of the people Nacro support come to us struggling to pay for essentials such as food, heating and travel. This needs to change.

It's simply wrong that Universal Credit is so low that it doesn't cover life's essentials. It pushes people into debt and destitution and has a terrible impact on their mental and physical health. That's why we back the #OurEssentials campaign.
