The worst part is no matter how hard you try to curb it's influence, they go to school and come home exposed and wanting more.

Yep ... I'm not an apple guy so dont have timeshare (wife sets time limits) but I happily paid OurPact ~$6 monthly for a make apps disappear button and my eero family plan ~$100 yearly lets me do the same for wifi only devices at home.
I try to avoid SaaS services, but those worth it.
