But it is a really big problem nationally for Democrats that the most conspicuous places they run (California, New York) are synonymous with dysfunction and outmigration, and this is largely owing to housing constraints. Fixing this is necessary, if not sufficient.
The thing you people never realize is that most Americans live in places like Atlantic City, not places like New York. No, housing is not affordable in NYC, SF, LA, Boston. But most Americans aren’t in those places. They’re in far more affordable areas.
I mean I probably could find more affordable urban housing if I were to move to Atlantic City, but I don’t want to move to Atlantic City.
