The high dosage of B12 is explainable. The body can only absorb around 1,5 µg 'actively/directly' via the so-called 'intrinsic factor'. The remaining 198,5 µg are absorbed passively by diffusion at 1/100 (1,985µg). 200µg/day intake equals 1,5µg+1,985µg absorption/d. So no oversupplementation here.
