This *is* for the original release, which didn't have universal manual cancel among many other things. But it does showcase a few ideas, like burst arte loops, Judith jump-ins and normal attack air combos... and overlimit Rita in general. lol

So I checked out the Vesperia pre-order dvd some, and it has a superplay montage featuring combos for all playable characters.

But at the same time, if you're a sicko, the standard combo structure is just rigid enough to feel like it's a limitation you have to get creative around, without actually locking you into it. There are getup attacks. You can stun enemies. Your overlimit lets you ignore rules temporarily. It's fun!

Trust me, it's much worse than it sounds in practice. It's almost completely out of your control, and you have NO way of knowing how close you are to achieving Overlimit. Which is aggravating since Mystic Artes, one of the few ways you can deal non-negligible damage, can only be done with Overlimit

This Expidition addon to PAD has forced me to actually level some of the thousands of cards I've just collected and done nothing with. Other than that not sure yet what's it's point actually is. I'm through all three lvl 1-6 for hidden, and lvl 7 Glacier/8Volcano&Forest. Overlimit 297+ is nice.
