There's some off-brands, but Tegaderm is fucking amazing shit when it comes to sticking for more than a day. I use a tegaderm-ish overpatch on my CGM sensor with some Skin-Tac and it stays on for 10 days.

I use overpatches. I’ve had the issue where the tape stays on but the sensor comes off so the overpatch keeps the whole shabang on. The overpatch will have the same problem of collecting lint depending on the brand, but I get dark colored patches so they’re hardly noticeable.

I use the Dexcom G7, and I have had reliability issues with them. After cleaning the target area, and degreasing it with isopropyl alcohol, I apply SkinGrp as a contact cement. Next comes the sensor, a large 3rd party overpatch, a protective cage, and another overpatch. That *GENERALLY* works.

I just put my CGM on last night, with an overpatch to keep it from coming off when I bonk into door frames. Tonight i get a notice about a recall...and yup, mines in it, so Vee was smearing the patch in coconut oil so it could be yanked off without me screeching.
