is there a #p4kfest feed on here where i can be obnoxious all weekend about such important issues as how much it sucks for two of the best live bands going (sudan archives and 100 gecs) to be scheduled against each other, and also someone should give me VIP cause it’s my birthday tomorrow

playing P4kfest was my top goal in my music career. it was a trip to P4k that motivated me sinking so much time and energy into Ekko and when jackie and i would talk about our next trip there, we swore it would be the year Ekko’d be on the bill.

this is why I get annoyed at anyone saying that p4kfest turned into a generic pop festival by the end, aside from an egregious headliner or two during the past two fests, they were still booking cool/new interesting acts you wouldn’t see anywhere else with that many people!

When Alanis sang "I'm lost, but l'm hopeful, baby. And what it all comes down to is that everything's gonna be fine, fine, fine" at #p4kfest tonight in Chicago on the eve Joe Biden's historic dropout she truly reflected what us, the American public, are feeling for the first time in years

#p4kfest scene report 003: the nespresso iced coffee experience tent lines for free iced coffee weren't moving so i jumped to the empty bar line where i received 3/4th an espresso martini gratis because the gas ran out #thatsthatsmenespresso
the new raised vip seating areas block a bunch of the lawn sight lines and are very dumb

whatever it’s fine. I still saw her play an acoustic set & q&a at SoHo House Chicago at p4kfest 2016. it’s fine. I’m totally not jealous.

also, Chance’s headlining set at P4KFest 2015 was an incredible concert & one of those peak moments in an artist’s career where it sort of all felt downhill after that.
