Being a werewolf isn’t just teeth and claws…it’s inside. It’s how you look at the world. It’s how the world looks back at you.

Introducing BAS v2: A Model-Agnostic, Three-Tier Memory Reference Architecture for Embodied AI
hi , Thank you for this exceptionally rigorous, high-information architectural review of the Bio-Anchor Standard (BAS) v2. Your structural decomposition of the framework and its cross-referencing with CoALA and the emerging IEEE P702 project space are deeply appreciated. To advance this evaluation efficiently without platform-induced transmission errors, I am providing immediate clarifications on the structural points you raised: 1. Clarification on UAI and HGI (Document Conversion Anomaly): You rightly spotted the nomenclature discrepancy. This is a structural artifact from converting the comprehensive 115-page manual into forum sections. To clarify: Both metrics coexist dynamically within the framework. The User Autonomy Index (UAI) continually monitors runtime cognitive offloading and recommendation rejection rates, while the Human Growth Index (HGI) serves as the macro-level quarterly psychometric evaluation vector. They are distinct operational layers. 2. On the Governance/Provenance Axis vs. Functional Memory Taxonomies: Your visualization is precise. BAS v2 does not attempt to redefine cognitive psychology memory classes (working, episodic, semantic). Instead, it layers a strict governance and trust boundary over them. The fundamental architecture decouples policy mutability from user-driven adaptation. 3. System Core Safety and the Aiko-chan Mapping: Your mapping of the Aiko-chan project onto the BAS framework perfectly benchmarks the technical gap we aim to resolve. As you accurately noted, while legacy systems feature modular persona files (like persona/SOUL.md) and per-user local database storage (sqlite-vec), they lack an unalterable, formally isolated security root (Tier 1) and continuous algorithmic ADRS safety controllers. BAS v2 provides the precise technical specification to turn these local files into structured, hardcoded invariants. 4. Next Deliverable: Architectural Description Pack I completely accept your default route strategy. Rather than executing a massive prose expansion on the public thread, my next immediate step is the compilation of a highly condensed Architectural Description Pack containing: * A clear Two-Axis Memory/Governance Map. * A formalized Per-Tier Security Contract Table. * A clean Trust-Boundary Data-Flow Diagram. * A modular Conformance Test Matrix based on your suggestions. I have the complete technical text file containing the detailed specifications for these matrices fully secure on my system. I would be honored to share these upcoming technical diagrams and evaluation tables directly with you via this channel for further collaborative critique. Thank you again for validating the foundational organizing principle of BAS v2: protecting the safety root, authenticating shared evolution, and continuously auditing the relational human-AI safety space. It does. When you configure the RUFUS bootable USB key, a pop-up specifically comes to ask you if you want to get rid of that requirement.

I’ve used it to install W11 on an old iMac 27” from 6-7 years ago and on a Fujitsu P702 laptop. Both lacking TPM2.0. Worked flawlessly.
