No problem! But again, I wouldn't be surprised that there still are some publishers operating their own component auctions in order to keep some level of control over bids from buyers in a PAAPI context 🙂

I’m forced to be on LinkedIn (coz paapi pet and all that jazz) and my god, the whole thing is a cesspool of unimaginable drivel. We don’t need longer character limits, we need to bring back hobbies.

I guess pubs want to leverage all available solutions with all their direct partners, whether SSP or DSP?
And when they have direct connections to DSPs, no reason why they wouldn't keep using them within PAAPI environment?

ブルースカイのbotに、PAapiを組み込むのに、えらい苦労した。PAapiは非同期処理だけど、非同期処理をうすらわかりしかしていなくて、apiにthenが付かずに、awaitを使ったりsetTimeoutで待ってみたりしたけど、どうやっても読み込まないうちに、次の処理に行ってしまう。しかたないから、callback関数の中に処理を組み込んだら、ようやく動いた。まあ、かなり汚いプログラムかとは思うけど、動きゃ良いんですよ。しかし、PAapiもしょぼくて、書籍の内容紹介や評価の★数などは、結局HTMLをparseして読み込まなけりゃ行けなくて、題名と著者名を取得したに過ぎなかった。

One of the specific aspects of PAAPI is that it formalises the fact that the auction must have a publisher, a seller and a buyer.
In that "direct" case, it forces either the publisher or buyer to act as (component) seller, and so pubs want to be seller notably for filtering capabilities
