**Abstract:** This research proposes a novel framework for optimizing cooperative maneuvers in mixed autonomous and human-driven traffic environments, focusing on predictive behavior and enhanced safety. Our approach, Predictive Cooperative Maneuvering Optimization (PCMO), utilizes a Bayesian Deep Reinforcement Learning (BDRL) agent capable of anticipating the actions of human drivers and coordinating with autonomous vehicles to minimize risk and maximize traffic flow efficiency.
