I know the tendency is to say the movie PCU aged poorly. I'm just not sure I agree. "Performative wokeness can be annoying sometimes but the people who hate it most are little Nazi weasels" kinda holds up as a message.

Centrists don't hate Democratic policies, but their brains have been conditioned to think all Democrats are the activist character from PCU, who was, and I can't stress this enough, not real and written to be unlikeable.
The list of things centrists think Dems should run on is so striking. There's some good stuff in here (expand Medicare to vision & dental), but it's mostly technical tweaks and preservation of the status quo.
Like yes, ban congressional stock trading but it's not exactly a compelling vision.
