MAHA is on the side of the pesticides,

what a shame to spend that amount of money for a product that is on the dirty dozen list of foods that have the most pesticides.

As critical as I am of MAHA and its perverse incentives, the answer is not industry lobbying groups funding influencers.

"GAHA" is NOT the way to fight misinformation. (Yeah, that's the acronym some are using.)

Over a million Europeans called for fewer pesticides and healthier farming. But the EU is trying to weaken these protections 😟 We need to speak up again. Add your voice—it takes 2 mins and could make a real difference for our health, bees, and farmers.

People are going to say the usual shit about rubes voting against their self interest, blah blah blah.

The thing is MAHA is popular because rural communities have been hollowed out and fucked over by the healthcare industry. They’ve been injured by pesticides.

They want that shit to stop.

We’re destroying the forests, we’re polluting the ocean and the air and the rivers, we are spraying poisonous chemicals on our food, with our pesticides and herbicides. I have to work with young people today so that we can raise new generations to look after this poor planet better than we have.

Opinion: Europe's children will inherit public-health crisis from new EU pesticide approvals
The European Union once prided itself on leading the world in protecting children. Today, policymakers backed by big polluters are betraying that promise in the name of “competitiveness”. In June 2026, Florence, Franck, and Isabelle packed their bags and headed to Brussels. Why? Because their children have all suffered serious harm from pesticides. These children have endured physical pain and heavy medical procedures, including repeated chemotherapy treatments. And their families have shouldered both the financial and emotional burdens alongside them. As Isabelle puts it: “It destroys a family.” Her own daughter has been fighting leukaemia for the last seven years. And they are not alone. In 2024, almost one in 20 children in the EU were exposed to dangerous levels of pesticides; that’s 380,000 kids. Now these parents have a clear message for policymakers: prioritise public health and stop dismantling the rules that protect children against harmful substances. In 2024, around 316,000 tonnes of toxic pesticides were sold in the EU to be sprayed across our countryside, risking not only the health of farmers but also polluting our soil, air and water. The European Environment Agency in Copenhagen has reported environmentally unsafe levels of pesticides in about a quarter of...
