Got an angry reply accusing me of being terrible as an Influencer and how dare you call me an Influencer?? I have never Influenced anyone in my life and that is probably best for everyone.

The latter is more of a personal petpeeve because I'm sick of dipshits on here saying we should mutual aid our way to covering the paychecks of every federal employee, but the former is a substantive policy complaint that is, yes I'm doing a misogyny again apparently, "unserious"

I do think people are genuinely trying to be helpful but "I can bring the righteousness of an important social issue to a personal petpeeve" is a tasty and seductive snack that almost everyone gives into at some point.
