oh gods I joined a pf2r game against my best judgement (the people are all cool and I'd love to spend more time with them) and I am CONSTANTLY screaming "why would you design a game this way" internally.
The horribly named Remaster edition made some great improvements but the bar is still in hell.

I really like PF2r, I just wish it had some more out of combat mechanics. Like those exist, but 80% of your character stats and abilities relate to combat. I’m not even sure how I’d want those mechanics, maybe as ptba moves that interact with the narrative or a more interesting skill check thing idk

I actually wish they had moved away from centering wizard subclasses around spell schools. Would have been cooler to do something more like PF2R

Finally getting a chance to try a PF2e campaign. As I started digging in I learned of Remastered & now have a question:
Is there an accepted standard notation for Remastered?
Ex: PbtA, SR5, 5e, etc.

Finally getting a chance to try a PF2e campaign. As I started digging in I learned of Remastered & now have a question:

reading the menace under otari #pathfinder 2 remaster adventure. there's something so comforting about a simple level 1 dungeon crawl. i'm hoping to start running pf2r more if this goes well, i was planning to do my own campaign but if the adventure paths are this good maybe i'll read another one

In PF2R, this is basically the optimal kobold strat for benefactors. Just hide in an archmage's walls!

相信近期入坑TRPG的朋友，很多都是被Netflix神劇🎲怪奇物語🎲燒到，才想來體驗看看DnD冒險的吧！
在該劇中登場的《龍與地下城》，比起戰棋格子和數據對抗，好像更加重視對GM描述的情境和如何用法術、戰術來進行應對。概念上會更貼近早期《專家級龍與地下城》的遊戲方式。
2014推出的《龍與地下城五版》，正是嘗試回歸到這種更強調「敘事」與「想像」的遊戲方式的嘗試——這也使它成為全球銷量最高的TRPG遊戲。
