Believing "other people's children deserve as good a school as my child" is a radical act. It's why you have to believe in investing in public schools. #PHLed

Nothing is given. Jeff Yass is still a billionaire despite spending obscene amounts of money defending Republicans. We will have to work together for the school funding and cyber/charter accountability we want www.chalkbeat.org/philadelphia... #PHLed #PFTvotes

Stronger school funding, turning SEPTA around, raising the minimum wage - it's time to deliver
www.inquirer.com/politics/phi... #PHLed #PFTvotes
Pa.’s Democratic trifecta could mean more funding for schools and SEPTA — if Harrisburg can find the money
For the city’s leaders, the most transformative change could be what Gov. Josh Shapiro has said will be his No. 1 priority: raising the state minimum wage for the first time since 2009.

The mayor does not care about Philadelphia schools bc she is a private school person. The vast majority of the people who run Philadelphia are private school people. They do not actually care about the children of the city.

Gov. Shapiro is expected to sign a bill banning cell phones from the start of the school day to the end. A number of area high schools currently allow kids to use phones at lunch and in hallways.
