I too had Shingles and a decade and a half later, STILL have nerve pain from Post Herpetic Neuralgia. Some tips:
- Get your Shingles vaccines as soon as you're eligible.
- If you think you have Shingles, see a doctor immediately to start on antivirals. (needs to be started within 72hrs of rash)
