I am happy for you. My experience with union representation is the opposite from yours. I was not chosen to be the recipient of their good protection. I was a member of PIPSC. A bully at work took advantage of my medical condition and did the dirty work of the deputy minister (TBS.)

Nothing like focusing on the really important stuff. I offered several times to the higher ups at work to meet with me to discuss how hybrid work had improved my team's ability to provide better service. They would never meet with me. Not once. Some day we'll realize how foolish this all was.
