This really is some step by step shit though! Goddamn. Coming upon the fifth episode, which I supposed is the halfway point, and there hasn’t been too much in the way of plot momentum (though there is progression), so I would hope we get something more starting with the next episode.

I’m disappointed that it took me 4 episodes to make the connection between the Plurb and AI Agents. Although, tbf, they haven’t gone as far as encouraging Carol to kill herself (yet?), but the need to please is very reminiscent of the affirmation-based programming LLM agents broadly have.

She was indeed on some fuckshit, but at least she tried to do *something*. And we know, I guess, there’s a means of reversal. It makes me wonder if you can break individuals away from the Plurb, even if you can’t desync everybody all at once.

Rooster and Plu1bus! We love that Carol.
Lyrics:
I asked Bobby Dylan
I asked The Beatles
I asked Timothy Leary
But he couldn't help me either

I've been searching low and high
I won't get to get what I'm after
Till the day I die!

Plu1bus is a product of the COVID pandemic. It captures the fear, the isolation, and the loneliness of being locked away as a strange alien virus conquers the planet. Most are happy to move past it. A few try to understand what happened, why it happened, and how to reverse it.

Plu1bus attention grosse arnaque, y a pas de bus du tout. Même pas la moindre évocation d'Emile Louis.
2026 commence très mal les amis.

Someone who writes better than me should do an article comparing Plu1bus to The Summer Hikaru Died, and the perils of falling in love with non-human entities in human form.

Wow, PLU1BUS really is one of those once in a lifetime shows. I don't think I'll ever see something quite like this again.

Folks I think one of the best qualities of PLU1BUS is just how colourful this show is. It isn’t graded to hell in an awful desaturated way and it’s just so pleasant to look at.

PLU1BUS is really good- entirely because of Rhea Seehorn.
