I finished Meur canto part 3 and it was so goood
The 2nd boss death carnival asides, I resonated with what Meursault and Jeanne brought up. It’s easily my most favorite canto alongside Yi Sangs and Heathcliffs that I hold dear to my heart

I finished Meur canto part 3 and it was so goood

I do think the PMoon devs are genuinely evil for some of the boss fights in Ruina and LobCorp. Like its straight up some devious, intentionally trying to mess with you bullshit it is CRAZY

I just get so frustrated with the ystem intentionally handcuffing me when it's built in a way that wants the player to easily rip through fights.
As if it's a sandcastle kicking competition but PMoon periodically installs steel beams in the walls and towers of the sandcastles.

I do find that one reason I enjoy CoC a lot is it very easily allows for dovetailing horror and comedy in ways that other systems don't. Which is probably also why I enjoy Resident Evil so much?
sometimes CoC is about taking a player aside and breaking out the tarot cards to figure out exactly how fucked things are for them, in a way that they still don't know all the details of.

Canto 10's amazing so far, Pmoon really went that extra mile to see what makes RPG Maker horror games click.
