One thing I’ve found (as a podcaster now on video with mixed feelings about it) is that when you ask people who only listen to podcasts where they find new podcasts to listen to, they same some polite version of “we don’t,” which is why everybody is on YouTube now.

I’m not a big brained CEO or podcaster but I don’t think screaming at everyone about how they are Luddite losers for not wanting AI in everything is a very effective selling point, but that’s why I don’t get lucrative sponsorship deals.

As a podcaster, this is how it generally works. The host of Shujin Academy VGM Club is a character I play, and while I do control every word he says, he's certainly a lot calmer than I am.
The thing about your favorite youtubers is you don't know them. Not really. They're playing a character, and when their real-life behavior doesn't match the character, that's not a reason to downplay the seriousness of their actions. It just means there are sides of them they didn't want you to see.
