Dr has agreed to starting payments of 951.00 to start this month for the first 12 rounds of chemo & targeted tx. First due before 10/1 in order to start. Consult for port placement this wk, then hospital fees for that procedure. ❤️ tysm for the kindness thusfar.

If I had a high profile job where ppl kept looking at my hands, I’d request a more proximal vein for any regular treatments.
I would have the resources to easily access ultrasound guided insertion if need be, or even a portacath. So this is confusing. Can veins be *that* bad?

Entramos a quirófano por primera vez. Es 1 de julio. Todo va bien y le deja a Ay el portacath colocado. Se recupera rápido y con más miedo que dolor. Miedo a todas esas cosas que le están pasando. El portacath parece un botón enorme oculto bajo su fina piel que sube como una culebra por su cuello.

Entramos a quirófano por primera vez. Es 1 de julio. Todo va bien y le deja a Ay el portacath colocado. Se recupera rápido y con más miedo que dolor. Miedo a todas esas cosas que le están pasando. El portacath parece un botón enorme oculto bajo su fina piel que sube como una culebra por su cuello.
