On Friday afternoon, I stopped by Stone Mountain Park before checking into the hotel for a POTA (Parks on the Air) activation. I was particularly proud of QSO with hams in California and The Netherlands with my little station. Thanks to Peter, W4PRP for the photo. #AmateurRadio #HamRadio #POTA

To use up 2 leeks I had in the fridge & having plenty of new potatoes (see previous post) I decided to make a Potato & Leek Gratin using one of the BBC Good Food recipes.

Ukraine needs a big generator. Not sure they will need the minimum or if they need redundant backup, and size, too. 🤔

This afternoon, I did a #POTA activation from Donnelly WMA in Green Pond, SC. I set up from the car by a rice gate and worked 37 stations including one from Alaska before I had to stop because of Mosquitoes. #AmateurRadio #HamRadio
