It’s no wonder George Washington (POTUS1) remains the only president unanimously elected, receiving 100% of available Electoral College votes in both 1789 & 1792 (legislatures elected a POTUS, predating the Nat’l popular vote as we know it today (citizens didn’t vote for POTUS until ~1824).

And actually thats not quite correct: I wrote 10 accused ringleaders were “convicted”, when POTUS1 pardoned them before trials were held, just to save Govt costs and hassle of putting them on trial, and after they expressed remorse for their actions (ie it was a preemptive pardon).
