Deaths from postpartum haemorrhage (PPH) are preventable — in 2023, nearly 45k women lost their lives to excessive bleeding after birth.

Now, we take a step forward: 5 of October will be marked annually as World #PPHDay — a call for action, advocacy, & accountability.

On the first World #PPHDay, global leaders launched landmark new guidelines to drive urgent action on one of the leading causes of maternal mortality.
