I’ve been saying the exact same for years. Though this has been hell it’ll be interesting after he’s gone to hear the in-depth psychological profiles on him like they did with Hitler.

We absolutely don't need both. Humanity thrived for millennia without a public permanent record of random daily thoughts of everyone. Democracy can't survive the amount of targeting you can do with the personal profiles of people's views made from this. Cambridge Analytica on steroids.

When I left X I stopped having you in my feed or in my followed profiles. But I really want this and have wanted this for a while for my bf. I'm glad you're back in my feed. 🔥❤️

If I'm really really honest, I kinda don't like beacons.ai because of that damn .ai suffix.

I just think it looks dodgy to the casual observer, like they'll assume the site's gonna steal their info, or that the profiles are all catfishes or bots 😭

Vancouver MBA student buys condo in 20s by prioritizing savings over spending
The article profiles Maya, a 33-year-old MBA student from Vancouver who purchased a condo in Burnaby, a suburb of Vancouver, at age 25 for $435,000. She moved to Canada from Asia on a student visa and worked multiple on-campus jobs to save for her down payment, living frugally without spending on alcohol or going out. She lived in inexpensive apartments and avoided unnecessary expenses to build her savings. After five years, she sold her condo to buy a house with a friend in 2024, now owing $485,000 on her mortgage portion. Her monthly housing costs include $2,600 for her mortgage, $900 for rent in an apartment shared with her boyfriend, and additional expenses for utilities, transportation, and groceries. She earns $150,000 annually, with a significant increase from her initial $40,000 sales job. She also works a side gig serving at banquets for extra income. Maya emphasizes the importance of avoiding unnecessary spending, noting that she prioritized savings over social activities during her 20s. She expresses concern about younger generations who are unwilling to work menial jobs and overspend due to social media influence. Her financial strategy includes consistent savings in tax-free savings accounts and retirement plans, with a focus on long-term financial stability. She shares her typical monthly expenses, highlighting budget-conscious choices like shopping at Costco instead of Whole Foods and using an electric car to reduce costs. Maya's story illustrates the impact of early financial planning and disciplined spending habits in achieving homeownership in a high-cost city like Vancouver.

Getting real tired of these “18 year old girls allegedly named Julie with OF profiles” that keep following me. Soon as I block one, another appears.

Finally! I don't know why anyone thought it was a good idea to stuff beers full of awful hops, or do outlandish flavor profiles to beer. I just stuck to tried and true European brews to save my taste buds from overly bitter regrets.

I agree, 100%! This also poses the question of HOW much these companies promise that certain things in our profiles and accounts are considered private. How much is privacy considered private, truly? Do these companies really have our best interests regarding what we see and even post online?

Sure, we can opt out of using these tools ourselves but how do we opt out if our friends or families or colleagues are using them? Do I need to start asking everyone if they are using one of these agents? Can I get all my friends, family, colleagues to sign an NDA? 🙃
