Official Statement Regarding the Continued Mistreatment of MADEIN’s Nagomi

Nagomi deserves protection. MADEIN deserves respect. 143 Entertainment must be held accountable.

We are deeply frustrated by yet another instance of 143 Entertainment’s mistreatment of Nagomi, the youngest member of MADEIN. Despite our February 7th statement regarding her inappropriate styling in the Saturn MV, the company has once again failed to protect its underage artists. At the February 20th fan signing event, Nagomi’s shorts were deliberately pulled up to expose her body in a way that is completely inappropriate for a minor. Unlike her older members, she was singled out, making this not just negligence but intentional exploitation. This incident is part of a larger pattern of 143 Entertainment’s disregard for its young artists. We have previously raised concerns about their failure to protect Serina from explicit online platforms and the misconduct allegations surrounding Lee Yong-hak (Digital Masta). Despite repeated warnings and public outcry, 143 Entertainment continues exploitative practices, proving they have no real intent to ensure their artists' safety. We demand: 1. A public statement acknowledging their failures and outlining protective measures. 2. A commitment to responsible styling and promotion that does not exploit minors. 3. Clear internal policies ensuring ethical treatment of all MADEIN members, especially minors. Until these demands are met, we urge fans to boycott 143 Entertainment and avoid engaging with MADEIN’s content in ways that generate revenue. A minor should never be placed in such situations, and we refuse to stay silent. Sincerely, ProtectMADEIN *alt text shortened due to character limit.

Official Statement from ProtectMADEIN Regarding MADEIN’s Nagomi It has come to our attention that Nagomi, the youngest member of MADEIN, a minor at the age of 17, was styled in an inappropriate bodysuit for the Saturn music video.* We find this deeply troubling and highly inappropriate, raising serious concerns about 143 Entertainment’s commitment to safeguarding its underage artists. This issue is even more alarming in light of previous allegations regarding Lee Yong-hak (Digital Masta) and his misconduct toward Gaeun when she was also a minor. Additionally, ProtectMADEIN had previously reached out to 143 Entertainment regarding another underage member, Serina, who was not only dressed inappropriately but also featured on explicit online platforms. Despite our attempts to contact the company, they failed to take meaningful action to remove the content or to institute stronger protections for their artists. We unequivocally denounce 143 Entertainment’s continued negligence when it comes to the safety and well-being of its underage talent. The entertainment industry holds a responsibility to uphold the highest ethical standards, particularly when it comes to protecting young artists from exploitation. Therefore, we call on 143 Entertainment to take immediate, decisive action to prevent the inappropriate portrayal of minors in the future and to establish and enforce stricter protective policies for all of their artists. @GTMNY143 We are deeply disappointed by these ongoing issues and continue to stand by our commitment to protecting MADEIN’s members. Sincerely, ProtectMADEIN *Do not watch the music video, teasers, or any related content that could generate revenue or engagement for this comeback. #PROTECTNAGOMI #BOYCOTT143ENT #FREEMADEIN
