How does this happen @PRSforMusic? I'm a PRS member. How do these big publishing companies like @sonyatvpubuk get the right to claim music which they have no claim over without any penalty? @WeAreTheMU ... anyone ... do we really have to just keep batting them back every claim?
I've just found out that EMI Music Publishing has been fully taken over by @sonyatvpubuk ... any it is they who are claiming to have rights to my tune The Dawn Chorus. They are thieves. I've never signed this to them. They were the ones who claimed my other tune Frozen Gin.

,@PRSforMusic member services phoned me back yesterday and said that there would be an FAQ emailed out to all members explaining the new online license charges that will devastate writer/musician's ability to earn money playing online.

All the songwriters who are members of @PRSforMusic. All the writers who are members of @ALCS_UK. All the publishers who are members of @PLSlicensing, @newsmediaorg and @PPA_live. And so on. The huge majority of professionally created content will have its rights reserved.
