Fragments of Georgian-era glass. Prunts, finials, bottle stoppers & the aqua blue neck of an apothecary bottle. Full of imperfections, bubbles, wonkiness & all manner of irregularities as the glass emerges from the furnace. The Georgian period became famous for lead glass for its drinking vessels.

Selection of raspberry prunts for you (prunt is a GORGEOUS word) looking like the boiled sweets of the Thames Foreshore. Once decorated the stem of 17thC Roemer wine glasses to stop greasy fingers from dropping. Smashed they are of no value & my fellow mudlark Flo has them made into JEWELS *drools*

We fetched our comics on a Saturday morning. The prunts left our pocket money & cash for the paper on the mantlepiece. We got up at OMG o'clock, had brekkie, went to the paper shop for comics, Soccer Stars, caps & the local Telegraph, got a 5p mix, went tome to take coffee & papers to Ma & Pa in bed

I can imagine meanings for the guy getting out. The format has no special meaning, Bosch enlarged many objects.
But why this type of jug with many handles, and the clay prunts to have a sturdy hold? Is there a link w.the obscene mocking of the sponge?
