#PSAs
No charges. Everyone knows you make it as easy as possible for people to walk away from those, if they can walk away at all. Milo remembers a million and one CalMind or CalHealth PSAs and mandatory trainings:

'Help is available.'

'It isn't you.'

'There are options.'

The ADs are not PSAs.
The ads spread lies, therefore propaganda.
There are laws against Trump using taxpayer funds to pay for the ads.
The ads prove Low-T JD doesn’t know the the definition of partisan.

JD Vance Says There's Nothing Partisan About Taxpayer-Funded Pro-Trump Ads
While the vice president said there was nothing unusual about the PSAs, the commercials featured many of Trump’s go-to attacks on his enemies.

Never saw anything from that guy as a kid. Quebec had their own fire prevention PSAs and mascots, so Smokey was never really a thing here for that reason.

Yes - but the ads won’t be Paid by our Treasury as Trump is doing disguised as PSAs! 😡

The vice president dismissed concerns about PSAs, which surprisingly echoed Trump's typical critiques of his adversaries.

JD Vance defends government PSAs as legitimate taxpayer spending.

Vance was asked whether public service announcements are a proper use of taxpayer dollars during a midterm cycle in which Republicans hold a fundraising advantage.

Just can't get my head around this! I guess it's because I'm in UK & brought up on PSAs around this time about throwing fireworks.

I used to be the Crew Radio Network studio producer around this time at 1460 The Fan (1999-2000). I used to have to play PSAs during commercial breaks because they couldn’t sell the advertising. Crazy how things have progressed.

Trump is using an actual political campaign ad from 2024. JD comparing it to PSAs from the Obama administration is just BS.
JD Vance defends Trump's taxpayer-funded propaganda videos: "If you look at the message of those advertisements, they are not partisan, it's not like we're advocating for a particular candidate"

with the exact ads for the exact runtime needed. If they get unexpected breaks and have to fill time, the network can run PSAs or backup ads, but 99% of what you see is in place days in advance.

Second, those breaks are split between national ads and local ads. Affiliate stations will often charge

One of the purported public safety announcements is literally a Trump campaign ad from 2024.

We made this deal in (and immediately after) World War II: the government wouldn't run its own PSAs, but the ad industry would produce them with donated labor and other resources. Originally called the War Advertising Council, it survives as AdCouncil. We have not revised that deal.

Q: "Do you think the PSAs are a good use of taxpayer dollars?"

Vance: "You have the people's government using tax dollars to advertise about what the government is doing. It's part of living in a constitutional republic…I don't think there's anything unusual…They're not partisan."

No one needs LGBTQ+ education more than conservative states. Biodegradable flyers should be dropped from the air, distributed through mailers, plastered across billboards, and PSAs on every station and streaming service. They still think Trans women, drag queens, and cross dressers are all the same.

Also, I'm not addressing Mr. Bouie (obviously), but I'm addressing those who think that getting canceled by "woke" is undeserved and that after a brief period of time, they are free to reenter public spaces without their past behavior being brought up again.

Make them do PSAs against their actions.

The doublethink in this administration is unbelievable. "War is Peace," "Freedom is Slavery," and "Ignorance is Strength", “political ads are PSAs”

And he didn't even need a full security detail or paid PSAs
