New paper! Once again we show the PTC2 locus underlies snail-schistosome compatibility, with dominant susceptibility suggesting it's more about the parasite recognizing the host than the host recognizing the parasite.

(Not disagreeing with the substance of the decision at all - I'm just not sure that the PTC2's reasoning provides enough legal foundation for that State to use in that situation.
