We tried to #adopt a dog for #ESA, sadly it's easier to buy a gun in #$TEXAS. You have to wait days-weeks, and the process to adopt is hard. We stick to #TNR instead, much easier and so many impactful programs. #PTESurvivor #DisabilityJustice
OMG, YES, please! That is such a badly needed service! More so than for humans even, I think, because pet loss is a disenfranchised form of grief in our toxic society. Ppl are made to feel like they're not *allowed* to grieve for an animal in the same way they would for a human.
