Last week, in a session of the #CarmaH2 General Assembly in Milan, we met with our #EUH2cluster fellow projects: ANDREAH, AMBHER, APOLO, HERMES, @hyieldproject.bsky.social, MEASURED & PYRAH2 Project.

It allowed us to showcase the diverse #hydrogen production approaches each project is pursuing.

Meet #Enercorr

A sustainability-focused company working across the energy and bioproduct sectors, Enercorr coordinates PYRAH2 by overseeing financial management, day-to-day activities, and collaboration across the consortium.

PYRAH2 converts biogenic waste into renewable hydrogen while locking carbon in solid form instead of releasing it to the atmosphere. By valorising underused organic waste streams, it helps reduce reliance on fossil hydrogen and supports a more circular, low-carbon future.

Meet HyChem, a partner in #PYRAH2. Based in Portugal, HyChem hosts the project’s demonstration unit and leads WP2 on permits and licences. Its expertise will support the development of turquoise hydrogen from biomass waste.

It takes four stages for us to get from bio-waste to hydrogen and solid carbon. We'll explain each one in upcoming posts, but for now here's the whole process in one go.

Our 2nd General Assembly is today! We're reviewing PYRAH2's technical progress, focusing on waste feedstock characterization, the vital foundation that conditions our whole process. Plus, we're finalizing our Hydrogen Safety Plan to ensure bulletproof operations.
