Pachyphytum oviferum, sometimes called moonstones, is a plant with thick fleshy succulent type leaves that are glaucous and farrina coated. Haworthia limifolia is an aloe type succulent with hard, sharp, striated, dark green leaves.

Completed piece: I decided it needed an extra element so have added some pachyphytum oviferum to the haworthia limifolia (both very hardy down to quite low temperatures and do OK in part-shade). All now quite solidly rooted too! 🌱🪴🌵📷

Näitä ”kuukiviä” eli pallerohärmälehtiä, Pachyphytum oviferum olen kasvattanut yhtäjaksoisesti n. 15 vuotta. Mulla on niitä monta ruukullista aina. Niitä voi lisätä tipauttamalla palleron multaan ja pitämällä kosteana. Välillä niiden väritys muuttuu melkein roosaksi.

Pachyphytum oviferum and Graptopetalum amethystinum look so much alike, sometimes I can hardly distinguish them in the absence of flowers. Now the autumn colors make in pretty easy.

Baby succulents from leaf propogation. Mostly from a mystery pack but I think:
a) Graptopetalum paraguayense
b) Dunno but plant identifier app thinks kalanchoe tomentosa
c) Some kind of pachyphytum?
d) Variegated pachyphytum supreme.

It lived!!!!! This is my sad pachyphytum now! The leaves took a lottt of damage from the overwatering, but it refuses to drop them.

The crown is nice and pretty though. One day I may chop it down and remove all the brown parts, but no rush.
