#Pachyrhinosaurus
Loved catching that detail for one of the ceratopsians (Pachyrhinosaurus?) in the first season of Prehistoric Planet.
grazing animals' eyeballs rotate when they lower their heads to keep their pupils aligned with the horizon. you know this now. you're welcome

I also work very analogue (although I use Procreate to test out colors!)

I pencil sketch and then use a light board to ink and add details. No two ink versions are identical, even though they all come from the same base illustration!

(The light board also lets me layer more effectively!!)

🔨to be fair pachyrhinosaurus would have had to deal with decently cool temperatures and half a year of night and it wasnt like triceratops big so idk if the climate envelope wouldve done rhe job but mostly it just looks cool

Another commission for @wumpflumpem.bsky.social of his character, Patricia the Pachyrhinosaurus! She's hard at work on a hot day, won't you be a dear and grab her a drink? #digitalart #commissionsopen

I was just going to sketch a bit while the kid and I watched an episode of Blue Eye Samurai.

But now I’m going to have to give this a proper work-over, aren’t I?
