From Late Cretaceous Galula Formation, Tanzania, the 50cm "cat crocodile" is a notosuchian with a dog-like nose and unusual, mammal-like dentition potentially making it capable of chewing. It had long, sharp teeth at the front and molar esque ones at the back

Simosuchus was not the only notosuchian with complex teeth. Look no further than Pakasuchus, which straight up just mirrors mammalian dentition down to the grinding molars.

One of the antagonist of my story!
His original design is by @/n0vagabe on insta!

This small, land-dwelling crocodile from Tanzania had mammal-like teeth 🦷 and a flexible spine, unlike modern crocs.
Built for speed & chewing, it thrived ~105M years ago, proving crocs weren’t just water lurkers! 🌍⏳
