I’m en route to a protest against an illegal land sale event in lower Manhattan this morning. According to protest organizers PAL-Awda, the event is only accessible to Zionist Jews, which is against federal law, and intends to sell stolen Palestinian land.

Big news: A federal judge has dismissed the FACE Act case filed by the DOJ (Harmeet Dhillon, specifically) against pro-Palestine activists who organized against illegal land sale events.

FEDERAL JUDGE DISMISSES POLITICAL LAWSUIT TARGETING STOLEN PALESTINIAN LAND SALE PROTEST ORGANIZERS IN NEW JERSEY When the FACE Act was drafted, lawmakers added a provision for houses of worship in order to get conservative votes to help pass the legislation, Kuby said. That provision, Kuby said, was never acted on until now "for a variety of reasons that are going to become apparent as it is now being used by the government." Kuby is representing Tova Fry, a 76-year-old grandmother and daughter of Hungarian Jews who survived the Nazi occupation of Hungary. Fry is named as a defendant in a lawsuit filed by Trump's DOJ in September. The suit accuses Fry of violating the FACE Act by serving a notice of impending legal action to a man who planned to host an event at his house allegedly to sell stolen Palestinian land. The DOJ argues that her actions constitute an attempt to intimidate a house of worship because the man she served allegedly has a prayer room in his home.

⭕️ Protest Targets Israel Recruitment Event at Upper East Side Synagogue; Group Runs “Lone Soldier” Pipeline for IDF Protesters rallied outside 163 E 67th St on Wednesday night as Nefesh B’Nefesh held a settler-recruiting fair inside Park East Synagogue. The action, organized by Pal-Awda NY/NJ, also targeted the group’s role in bringing foreign Israelis to Palestine and feeding recruits into the Israeli military. Nefesh B’Nefesh works with the Israeli government and the Jewish Agency to relocate North American settlers, claiming more than 80,000 arrivals since 2003. Its Lone Soldier Program, run with Friends of the IDF, supports recruits with no family in Israel — typically recent immigrants or volunteers from abroad — by providing housing, stipends, and logistical help for foreigners who enlist. Organizers said the fair is part of that pipeline, promoting displacement of Palestinians and enabling a genocide that has killed at least 70,000 people in Gaza. Protesters chanted slogans praising resistance and denouncing the IDF. Gov. Kathy Hochul condemned the protest as “shameful” and “a blatant attack on the Jewish community.” Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani, while “discouraging” some of the language used, said “sacred spaces should not be used to promote activities in violation of international law.”

I don't think the person shouting "Jews should be afraid" was an infiltrator. PAL-Awda sees "Zionists" everywhere as legitimate targets for resistance by any means. This is also why I think "globalize the intifada" is a problematic slogan at best.
