It's been theorized, that he uses a retainer for a palatal perforation caused by snorting cocaine? adderall?...
Remember when it used to sound like his dentures were falling out when he spoke?

my theory is the palms are diaphragms and that helps with regulating the lung diaphragm and the palatal diaphragm, once I coordinate it all with the foot arch diaphragm and the pelvic floor diaphragm I will be unstoppable

It is widely known that the habit of snorting cocaine is associated with a peculiar type of drug-induced chronic rhinitis, which leads to inflammation of the sinonasal mucosa, slowly progressing to a destruction of nasal, palatal and pharyngeal tissues.

I also played a bit with bone network maps, mostly as a tool to help me better understand the connectivity of skull elements. I found them useful but not super-revealing. We included a map in Supp. Info. This was done w/o the benefit of having seen the recent Schuurman et al. paper in Palaeontology.

Orthodontic appliances help straighten teeth, correct bite problems, and improve dental alignment. Metal and ceramic braces use brackets and wires, while lingual braces sit behind the teeth. Clear aligners gradually shift teeth, palatal expanders widen the upper jaw, and retainers maintain results.

Chattanooga's Scenic City Orthodontics is urging parents to get kids screened for airway issues by age 7. Palatal expanders can widen the jaw and improve breathing during key growth years — before the window closes. #Orthodontics #ChildHealth

Seems like there's a spectrum in some branches of the Austronesian family where palatalization did occur (Malayic) and where palatalization did not (Philippine)... 🤔

SLP with a career long interest in linguistic phonology here. We don't. The "ng" at the end of the 1st syllable is the velar nasal /ng/ while there's a "j" (palatal, voiced affricate) at the beginning of the second syllable. There's not technically a /g/ sound in the word at all!

2. Los sonidos lh (portugués) y gli (italiano) son similares a nuestra LL clásica, que apenas se conserva (somos yeístas), pero que es muy similar a la LL catalana (sonido palatal lateral sonoro /ll/, como en castell).

One basic start in another language proves it might be a miracle I'm even able to speak native english to begin with, because I had no idea wtf "palatal" means till I checked the dictionary

GLP & G9a work as heterodimers to add methyl groups to H3K9. I knocked out both enzymes (DKO) in neural crest cells (NCCs) via Wnt1-cre. 100% of DKO mice had cleft palate, a defect that also occurs in human babies & leads to problems feeding. Mutant mice also had microcephaly & middle ear defects.
