And 2) since the last few decades has had borders in Palestine pushed back considerably, where would the lines be drawn defining the two states? As they are now? Palestine would not accept that. As they were in the 60s? Israel would not accept that. Is there even an answer both would accept?

So I don't know what the writers were thinking, but from what I can see, there are two problems: 1) if Israel and Palestine exist as two separate states and if Israel maintains it's current doctrine, that of zionism as it is defined in the motion, then it would always pose a threat to Palestine.
