Btw; If you’re ever in a position where you may benefit from taking them, don’t be afraid of antipsychotics. It may be a process to find the right ones for you, but they likely do exist, and they can make your life a whole lot less distressing. I take paliperidone injections in case it helps!

Abilify only ever made me worse; Paliperidone helps me significantly with minimal side effects. It varies but I think sharing my experience may help somebody

It’s paliperidone injections btw in case you were wondering. They help me a lot - I recommend trying them if you’re looking to get medicated, especially if Abilify hasn’t worked for you (it only ever made me worse)

For my fellow psychosis experiencers who would like to be medicated for it: I’ve personally had a really good experience with paliperidone based meds. It comes both as pills and as injections; If you struggle to remember to take pills I would recommend the injections

When I read reviews on Paliperidone on www.drugs.com/comments/pal... there is lots of 1 out of 10 reviews and some 9 out of ten and ten out of ten reviews. You don't see reviews in the middle. I would give it 5. It's a difficult med though. I could agree with both extreme reviews.

I'm watching Star Trek Voyager again this evening with Snoopy under my arm. I seem more anxious and restless maybe the reduced Paliperidone depot dose is starting to have an impact. I don't know who knows.

My favorite instance of this pharmaceutical naming nonsense so far is the progressive FDA approvals for the different forms of long-acting paliperidone:

I've been on the higher dose of Paliperidone for almost 3 months now. I have had 3 injections of it. I think it has helped a bit. Just wish I had more energy and didn't get so overwhelmed with things. I often feel on tender hooks. I miss having drive to want to do things.

Saw the mental health nurse. She seems really good and gives me alot of time. She said the increased dose of Paliperidone is having it's full effect now so that maybe why I feel drowsy. She said I may get used to the dose more and the heat maybe making the sedation worse.

These meds. Mainly Paliperidone and lithium seem to keep ok but feel so damn tired. Maybe now I'm 41 I just feel it more. Though I haven't been in hospital for the longest time ever so that's something.
