Y'know, I think my biggest nitpick is that the Pandamon with whom Gekkmon swore a blood oath back in the first arc never showed up again. (unless he was part of the crowd and I missed it) Even some of the characters from filler episodes showed up at the end!

Same here! The overall impact of not just episodes 5 and 6 but Pandamon for Gekkomon was 🔥 and made me more emotional than both Digimon Adventure and Tamers despite the episode being a bit rushed since it was honestly that good since the story is just as important as the action. 🔥😭💕 #beatbreak

Gekkomon already did this with Pandamon, so there is precedent. this would be very neat given the small army of baby Digimon hanging out at Nirinso. Tomoro might have an opportunity to "go wide" soon

As we rush to the finaly that now needs to happen, the lead continues to be the weakest most under developed character by far yet at the same time trying to say he matters. As that episode count shortens you end up glaring at the waisted episodes early like the Pandamon 2 parter.
