Oh. Seems like I haven't been around for a while now.
Anyways. I found that paperdemon website and wanted to give it a try. The prompt was something about stopping the enemy without fighting it.
Yeah well, guess my character is pretty dumb.

zahra, one of the npcs, on the left, looking angrily down at my oc, petra. her dialog reads, "and who invited you?". petra columba, my character, is dressed in a scruffy jacket with a shirt and tie, holding an unlit cigar as she looks up at zahra. her dialog reads, "nobody, ma'am. i'm lieutenant columba, i'm with the police. i have a few questions for you, then ill get out of your hair." (a reference to the tv show columbo). in the upper right is a doodle of my oc nahla, in tears as she shouts "seriously?! a stupid pop culture reference now, of all times?! my god, read the room!")

murder at the ball!
the alibis of the commoner in a royal disguise, the witch who wasn't invited, and the pigeon girl who is not actually an employee, let alone a chef. #oc #coffeedraws #paperdemon
my ocs, all with dialog bubbles next to them. on the top left is roshan, in their disguise as "lord mirza". they look troubled and like they're pondering. their dialog reads, "What was I doing? Mingling, of course! Many fellow nobles would be happy to vouch for me, if you insist. So dire... Are things always like this in this kingdom? It makes me question whether an alliance really is a smart move. I don't want my people to be affected... The hospitality is lovely, but this first impression has been... Unfortunate, I feel." top right is nahla, looking panicked. she's thinking to herself, "Oh no, oh no, I didn't do it, right? What if I did it and I forgot? What if I accidentally killed the victim? Without even realizing it?" as she's asked about her alibi. she almost mentions roshan before correcting herself, and then asks to revise her alibi anxiously. at the bottom is petra, in a chef's uniform. she's looking annoyed and angry. her text reads, "Now YOU'RE accusing me? All night, I've been accused of this and that! I've got an alibi, sucker! I've been followed around by my stupid coworker all evening because he thinks I'm gonna steal! Me, steal?! All of this because I ate 3 or maybe 19 of the red velvet cheesecake bites! I was making sure they're up to standard! Seriously! Aren't we supposed to be proper and vigilant?! Ugh! It's never 'oh, good job staying vigilant, chef! Thanks for looking out for everyone, chef!' It's always 'What do you have in your mouth?' or 'Oh no, stop eating all the prosciutto!'"

my oc petra in a chef's outfit disguise, sprinting away from the fancy party, with her pigeon wings flared out in excitement. she is looking back behind her towards the main room. she's holding two bottles of champagne, a huge tray of expensive hors d'oeuvres (including caviar), and has a large steak hanging from her mouth.

the witch who wasn't invited to the royal ball
#oc #coffeedraws #paperdemon
my oc nahla, dressed in a water / rain themed blue dress. she has various pieces of jewelry that replicate water droplets. she is holding up a champagne flute with a soft smile, and is standing at an outdoor nature-y venue with glowing flowers. there is text to the left, it reads: "The Water Witch's Night Out / Nahla isn't supposed to be here. There was no invitation addressed to her. Yet. here she is. There was, notably, an invitation. Just... Not addressed to her. Swiped from someone important before it could reach them, or so Miss Columba insists. It's selfish. it's childish, she knows. but she's been yearning for this for longer than she could remember. A night to feel elegant and classy. that feeling of social elevation that she had almost forgotten about. One can only hope that a missing invitation is not enough to cause a rift within the uneasy detente of the royals' intricate social web... The thought is frightening. For now... For this one event... A toast, to the fond memories of before."

the charismatic magician in a royal disguise
#oc #coffeedraws #paperdemon
my oc roshan, in elegant royal-looking dress. they have a full face of makeup, and are smiling at the viewer. they are standing in the middle of a brightly lit ballroom decorated with lots of flowers and plants. there is text to their right, reading: "Lord Mirza, Elegant Newcomer / As a stranger to Castimeria's elites, Roshan's dress as a Lord from a distant realm can hold water... As long as they play the part proper. Though sharp-dressed and ready to fraternize with the royal crowd, Roshan's intentions are far removed from monarchical mingling. In reality, Roshan's alliance lies with the revolutionists, and their role in attending this soiree is twofold: To gather intelligence from the royal crowd, and to sow misleading information about the rebellion's plans and information."

the wheel of fortune - change, fate, destiny
#oc #coffeedraws #paperdemon
my oc petra as the wheel of fortune tarot card. she is in a floaty and dynamic pose, with her pigeon wings flared out and extending past the card's interior border. she is loosely holding a large silver chain pocketwatch and is looking at the viewer with a surprised expression. in the top half there are building silhouettes and a starry dusk sky, and in the bottom half various golden interlocking gears. there is a wavy musical staff pattern along the corners. the border of the card is purple and green, mimicking her pigeon-like clothing colorations.

temperance - patience, balance, finding meaning
#oc #coffeedraws #paperdemon
drawing of my OC roshan as the temperance card of the major arcana. they have long dark blue hair tied in a ponytail and are wearing an elaborate sunrise and sunset themed robe. they are standing on a field of clouds with their eyes closed in a peaceful expression. their arms are up and holding a rainbow over their head. there's a starry effect behind them, a pink and yellow gradient akin to a sunrise. the card border is orange with a translucent lace pattern.
