I do all mine with no meds. I get prolonged paresthesia if I use local.

Having persistent paresthesia in my left hand for three weeks now and now also in my left foot for 2 days… is kinda disconcerting
Being in a waiting list for a nerve conduction test with no idea how long that wait will be doesn’t help

Why pre-workout makes you tingle: it's beta-alanine (paresthesia).

• All 37 best-sellers that print the amount give 800+ mg a serving
• The tingle fades in 60–90 min
• ISSN: no evidence it's harmful

But studies measured carnosine over weeks (3.2–6.4 g a day), not the tingle.

Thanks, Allison. I am off-the-charts lucky after living with MS for decades.

I did once suffer with painful paresthesia. My right arm burned like it was touching a stove for 2+ years. My doctors believed me and understood but there was nothing they could do for me. Eventually, it subsided.

my best friend has ME and it kicked in post some mold exposure in 2018? 2017? and i've lived with them the last 6 years & saw how quickly it progresses and how intense it can be. they used to get recurrent paresthesia with PEM and the way we were in and out of ERs for a year or two in denver lmao 🥲

A 34-year-old woman was diagnosed with neuro-Behçet disease and initiated the TNF inhibitor adalimumab. One year later, she reported new upper-limb paresthesia, and 3 years later, she developed acute diplopia

And don't get us started on paresthesia (skin tingling). 😣

Frequent pins and needles can be an important biological signal. In our latest video, we break down what causes paresthesia—from nerve compression to metabolic shifts—and explore how peripheral nerves can heal once the cause is addressed: https://jedd.social/s/KwFPiC

Two of my toes on my right foot are bendy without pain AND I think I might be able to feel the temperature of the floor! SUPER WIN!! I've been working a LOT on the paresthesia in my foot (& elsewhere). It's been 7 months since the right side paresthesia and 10 for my lumbar bulges etc. Keep going 🦋

awake since 3am because of nerve pain and paresthesia all over my body. can't tell if it's the B12 or atogepant or the latter exacerbating the side effects of the former. checked my notes app & I had the same after B12 shot in 2023 :/

In medicine, these types of uncomfortable, distorted, or painful skin sensations are referred to as paresthesia (abnormal tingling or prickling) or dysesthesia (painful, altered responses to normal touch).
