#ParkGokJi is a renown film editor. She and her colleague #JeongJinhee won Best Editor at the 5th Korean Film Awards for #ADirtyCarnival, and received a further nomination for Best Editor at the 1st Asian Film Awards.

#ParkGokJi married director #ParkHeungsik and she used her influence within the local industry to aid the production of his 2nd film, #TheRailroad. She was listed as producer and editor in the credits.

The film won the FIPRESCI award and Best Actor for #KimKangWoo at the 25th Torino Film Festival.

Most recently, #ParkGokJi edited the film #TheTruthBeneath, starring #SonYejin and #KimJooHyuk; as well as the disaster film #Pandora, written and directed by #ParkJungWoo, starring #KimNamGil.

Other #ParkGokJi notable works from the 90s include: The Day a Pig Fell into the Well, Crocodile, The Contact, The Hole, Shiri, and #ParkChanWook 's second feature film, Trio.

In the 2000s she kept working editing films such as Madeleine, Face, My Boyfriend is a Type B, 200 Hundred Pounds Beauty.

As a film editor, #ParkGokJi is responsible for ensuring the film's narrative & that the director's vision is achieved. She reviews raw footage to select the best takes, ensure smooth transitions, adds visual & sound effects, such as CGI &music, & makes requested edits from the director or producer.

#ParkGokJi edited the #ParkChulSoo film 301, 302, a very dark crime thriller that explores two women's broken psychology and how they deal with society's expectations and trauma.

301, 302 was the SK entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 68th Academy Awards, but not accepted as a nominee.
