The House of European History is free, in the Leopoldpark behind the European Parliament and gives a roughly chronological walk through the history of Europe from prehistory to today. An excellent primer for her trip.

Had a lovely day with my daughter in Brussels yesterday. After a delicious lunch (lots of cheese) we went to the Parlamentarium, the European Parliament's visitor centre. The interactive exhibition tells the history of Europe since 1945 and the workings of the Parliament and other EU institutions.

Reminds me of my visit to the Parlamentarium in Brussels, where you can follow the (long) history of the European project from its beginnings. One of the best museums I've been to.
