The sun did get its hat on & so did #PatchworkCarpenterbee among the Bird's-foot trefoil blooms on my #allotment this a/noon but big #Buff-tailedbumblebee worker w her short tongue did a spot of daylight nectar robbery instead, cutting a hole in the top of the tiny pea flowers 🐝🐝

When RHS writes in its Plants for Pollinators 'Project' that wild native plants should be the core of the garden, I do hope it means by 'core' the most vital part & also the one that takes up most vegetative space, & not f.ex. the 'core' of Earth,
