People kept raving about 3H and being a #patientgamer, I decided to check it out last year. But fuck me those games have gotten dense.
I thought they were “Do a battle on the commute”-type deals, but apparently they’ve turned into Football Manager while I wasn’t looking.

- Cancel your PS Plus
- Buy *only* physical and *only* second-hand so Sony doesn't get a dime more. Support your local game store.
- Play your existing backlog! You don't need to buy games on release.

Batman Arkham Knight is made painful by the constant cramming in of the batmobile. I'd heard it wasn't great, but I assumed it was rare moments, not every other puzzle. Even sneaky moments have a "oh, guess I need the batmobile winch, gonna have to go out and rev it up" #gaming #PatientGamer #batman

Started playing Evoland 2. 1 was fun but is 2 a hidden gem?
Never heard of it besides when Epic gave it out for free. Only played a few hours and it's great so far!

#Borderlands4 being on sale one month after release... not a good sign. In a year the performance issues will be fixed and the game will be like 80% off. #patientgamer

Yep, which is why I wait until EGS gives it away free one day, or deeply discounted. There are SO many games out there that are arguably offering more value to play until brand new games get cheap. #patientgamer

I suppose the nature of performing patches and updating games in the past gaming eras, like the 360 & PS3 times, was limited in many ways.
Now there isn't a new release without multiple post-launch patches. That's partly why I'm a #patientgamer

Was a good month for me: When I saw Silksong for $20 I thought it would be R500 about in my region. Ended up being R185. Then when MGS Delta came out, it was R600 (About $33.89) instead of a standard triple A price of about R1299. I'd say also poke around r/patientgamer.

Because I'm a #patientgamer, the release and crazy praise for Citizen Sleeper 2 made me load up and play Citizen Sleeper 1 for the first time. Not that far in yet, but damn this is a good game.
