Yeah, big thing in Germany. Helps a lot of you have state-funded theology departments. Karim is quite famous and the other is a young professor for old church history & patrology.

So, the next thing you must know about patristics in the West and beyond, is that *also* in the 1800s, a prolific (if that is the word one might use in this case) collator of patrology published as many patristic works as he possibly could in Greek (Patrologia Graeca) and Latin (Patrologia Latina).

I have one of my dad's Manuals of Patrology from his time in the junior seminary at St. John's, Camarillo. Several of the books in the bibliography state "should be read with caution."

I was kind of thinking abt vladblanc relating to early christianity in general and the attempt to synthesize christianity with platonic Forms diverging into gnosticism(derision) and patrology(usual christian devotion) but I cannot put this coherently anyway vlad is like pythagoras 2 me
